The Elegant Era Show will also be graced with the Dance Spectrum in Campbell competitive youth Ballroom dancers who will show us routines that prove  Dancing with the Stars is alive and well in San Jose.  Proof that Ballroom dancing is perfect for boys and girls to do something positive and healthy together, San Jose State will entertain the audience with the young adult routines choreographed by local Ballroom dance teacher, Bud Ayers.  Seniors will grace the stage as routines from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Santa Clara will provide proof that you are much happier and you live longer when you dance.  Partnership dancing and energetic line dancing is also available in the Country Western world and to lift up our spirits, there is no better avenue than Country dancing. Providing talent from our Country Western world of dance is Diana Chien with dancers from both the Saddle Rack in Fremont and the Rodeo Club in San Jose.  The first half of the show will end with a video of the first pilot program for High School children trained by Adrian Flores in a program called Building Respect Through Dance.

The second half of the show is the professionals, beginning with Virginia Iglesias, a powerful Flamenco dancer, followed by Christy Cote and Darin Leigh with the Argentine Tango, and Mike Quebec and his team of Swing Dancers, then Silke Heleine and Tytus Bergstrum who have competed world wide and became champions in the International Latin style of Ballroom, ending the professional section with Top Salsa Competitors, Ciro and MaryAnn Martinez.

The evening starts with a Salsa lesson at 6pm in the lobby to prepare for an audience participation finale.  The doors open at 7pm to the sounds of the Judy Ferrari Big Band .  Ticket price for this event is $20, making it affordable to families.  This is a formal event so put on your tuxedos, your ballroom gowns and your dancing shoes-this dress to impress event will include the audience in the finale which will start the general dancing.  General dancing will continue till 11pm.  For tickets: Call 888 455-SHOW (7469)  www.adrianflorespresents.com
